Cry Havoc and Let Slip the Strings of Purse
I went on a shopping spree today and I barely even got anything "fun". Pout. (Okay I did get the new Tears For Fears CD finally, woo!... and a new set of cordless phones, but even to a geek like me those have limited "fun-ness".) Thank my brother Karch for my Tears For Fears devotion - he gave me Songs From The Big Chair when I was headed off to a summer in France at the tender age of 10, and I listened to it nonnnnnnn-stop the whole trip. The Hurting became my high school volleyball tape (I still get flashbacks to certain bus trips when I hear some of the songs), too. And I have all the others (except for maybe one of the more recent ones from when Roland was recording alone), of course, but the first 3 are really my favorites. (We'll see if the latest one measures up!)
Speaking of Karch, in case you don't know the significance (I realized I didn't explain it yesterday), Karch Kiraly is perhaps one of the most famous and best men's volleyball player of all time.
Other stops on my spending tour today - Home Depot (love them furnace filters and picture hangers), Best Buy (phones and CD), Whole Foods (supplements for when I start making my own cat food - yeah, more on that later), Office Depot (automatic coin sorter, yessss!), and Da Jewel - for multiple hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. Maybe I oughta buy groceries more often, hm?
And with that I think I'm going to call it a night - laundry's got to be put into the dryer and I have a lot more junk to do before I can go to bed. :(
Sleep well everybody!
